Just got an email from my Rep. Tidwell and said they will vote on Wednesday to over ride and he will vote to over ride.

So, if they override it does it take effect immediately?

Once both houses vote to override, since the effective date of the legislation will already have passed, it will become
law and go into effect immediately upon being signed by both Speakers.

As a practical matter, it may take a day or two for the engrossing clerks to produce the final copy-for-signature. No
one should be surprised or upset if this is so; it's a normal part of the legislative process, and not some last-minute
"let's delay it another day" tactic. Having said all that, I expect that it can be rushed through the engrossing process
if the Speakers so desire.

We've worked & waited for 15 years for this: I can be patient a few more days.
