Response from Sen. Lowe Finney on HB 0962

Thanks so much for your fax regarding HB0962 "guns in restaurants" legislation.

I want you to know that I served on the joint conference committee regarding this legislation and voted to remove the restrictions on this bill. I expect it will now pass the full senate again with my vote as it did previously.

Have been seeing good response from Senator Finney with regards to 2nd Amendment issues.

I was in the committee when it met and Sen. Finney's statements are dead on the money. He stood with us and if he will do that on a bill with such public pressure against us, hopefully he will be with us on less visible issues.

Thank you to Sen. Finney and others stood with Tennessee's gun owners!

I spoke with him via phone, called his secretary, sent my signed letter as a fax and mailed it as well. I have started using this method across the board when contacting my legislators, State or Federal.

Each time I have contacted Senator Finney I have had at least a response via e-mail.

To date, I have not heard a word in response from Representative Johnny Shaw, also, I have never been able to contact him by phone.

I ask to be officially counted in support or against the Bill, and request the tally of my constituents in support or opposition to the measure. Evidently the Representatives have no duty to reply to their constituents.
