I was reading it, and members of another forum made note, it specifically says Tennessee resident. Would this not create issues regarding reciprocity?

At the same time we fix this little error (which may require re-writing the bill some), might we also fix the other errors, such as making the bill allow carry in local and Federal parks/forests/what have you?

Unfortunately, a lot of the problems arise from the - once again - "bandaid" approach to changing these laws. Couple that with poor drafting and this aspect of why TFA exists will likely never go away.

I keep calling for a commission that would make a comprehensive look, Ben West ran that as a joint resolution this year, but its likely going nowhere.

I agree, this was why I proposed we suggest an amendment, one that fixes the park carry entirely.
