Our guest will be Scottie Nell Hughes who is the lead contributor of the Tea Party News Network. Her stories include on the street interview packages to entertaining yet revealing interviews with some of the most notorious names in both politics and Hollywood. Scottie Nell’s interviews have been linked on top sites like Drudge Report, Breitbart, The Blaze, World Net Daily, The Daily Caller with several stories going viral. Scottie also serves as a columnist for TownhallFinance.com and Townhall.com. She also has served as a political consultant and media strategist for several local and national campaigns and bus tours.

Prior to stepping in front of the camera, Scottie Nell Hughes, established her conservative foundation in the talk radio media. Having started at the very beginning as the executive producer of the Steve Gill Show in Nashville, TN, Scottie Nell used her early years in radio to learn every element of a successful talk radio program. She eventually accepted roles with several nationally syndicated talk shows like the Rusty Humphries Show, The Michael Berry Show and many others.

She has organized or been apart of broadcasts from the Republican and Democrat National Conventions (for which she was awarded a Nashville Air Award in 2005), numerous national primaries, as well as the White House and the Pentagon and she was assigned to the White House Press Corps for Inauguration 2005. She also was in the first group of radio talk show hosts sent by the Department of Defense to travel to the frontlines of Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Kuwait as well as the detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.


Arrive early - 5:00 to 5:30 would be good. Eat in the meeting room if possible and if not, get as close as you can. We will try finishing eating by 7:00 in the meeting room to clear out everything but drinks for the meeting if we have a large turnout.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO PAY AT GOLDEN CORRAL AS YOU COME IN FOR THE MEETING IF YOU ARE EATING. TELL THEM THAT AT THE CASH REGISTER THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR THE MEETING AND TO APPLY THE "GROUP RATE" WHICH INCLUDES YOUR DRINK.

You do not have to be a TFA member to attend nor do you have to be a resident of Nashville. Everyone is welcome and encourage to bring guests - even spouses.

I want to encourage each of you to bring someone with you to the meeting who has not been to one or been to one recently. There's no cost to come (unless you eat because the meal is on you).
