Dove season opens today. Although I will miss it for a variety of reasons, I still relish the season that it introduces.
More significant for my purposes, archery season (Kentucky) opens this Saturday. I am told deer cannot smell suntan lotion.

Just a few more weeks till Archery Season opens here in TN as well.
Went up to Portland for our annual dove hunt with the nephews, had a great time, and although there were not the huge numbers we had last year, every body got their limit and it was great to play hooky and kick the season off!
