Basically, it is an organization that encourages marksmanship. I signed up for the event being held this weekend in Manchester. I haven't ever gone before, but I am enthusiastic. I encourage other TFA members to attend as able.

I have been talking with local friends about it for a while now. I would like to see TFA Chapters perhaps work with the organization to host local events in conjunction with one or more local ranges.

I personally am going to take my AR, and use the good ammo. I think it will be worth it anyway.

John, I wanted to do one back when I ran Chattanooga, but I just was not able to get the time off to do it. Appleseed is rather open to other people helping set them up. It is very likely local TFA chapters could use them as a form of recreational recruiting. Get people to come, and somewhere insert a thank you to the TFA for helping set this event up. Short TFA story follows. People hear about us, some join. Just a thought.
