The Applebees Restaurant in Chattanooga on Shallowford road posts a sign that says "No Firearms Allowed in Restaurant Regardless of Law". First of all the "regardless of law" statement is poor wording in my opinion. Anyway, it's their sign and I won't frequent businesses that don't honor my RIGHT to self-defense. I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere and to send Applebees a letter (to that location AND to corporate) or call explaining the reason for the loss of business. If there is a way to post a picture of the sign, I'm happy to do it, but am not sure how. Their mailing address is: 2342 Shallowford Village Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421

Applebees responded to my letter and stated that they removed the sign. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Congrats MDTN!!!!! If we keep doing emails and writing letters & phone calls then we can slowly change the mindset of many.

This is great news. I do not like applebees but it is still good to know nonetheless. I thought we couldn't carry in applebees anyways because they sell alcohol for on site consumption.

Right david, and I think pretty soon we will be able to carry in apple bees, and ruby tuesdays etc.

At the time, it was legal to carry in restaurants that served alcohol. After I posted, the judge declared the law "vague". It seems like we'll be revisiting that issue today or next week depending on when the governor vetoes it again. But at that time, it was legal. Just wanted to clear that up. But our focus needs to be on massive amounts of letters, calls, and emails asking business owners to reconsider posting their businesses, then withdraw our business until they do. It's made a difference in several places. Just think if the 300,000 TN permit holders wrote every posted location! How much of an impact could that have
