Ed, I hear this type of question frequently.
The first problem I sense with this kind of question is the apparent premise that "something" is going to happen and there is no indication that there is a vigorous fight being made to resist and a lack of hope or determination to stop it. We have a tyrant in office - not one but many. They have declared their intent to destroy the constitution, our rights and state sovereignty. Even at the state level, we have Establishment Republicans and RINOs who are unwilling - because they are not - to stand as constitutional conservatives and defend the rights of citizens and the state against government because they love the fact that they have a position of power within government. We frankly have no choice but to do everything possible in terms of time, effort and money to destroy the political power and government involvement of these tyrants. Maggart was only an example but the crucifix of her political destruction is not enough in isolation. We must plant many more figurative crucifixes with the "hides" of numerous former legislators who will need to be defeated in expensive, nasty and hard fought primaries and general elections.
Our Founders did not ponder what they would do if England prevailed because their conviction was such that they knew they would not live to see that day.
