With all the attention that has been given to resturant carry we have let the parks deal hide.If the law allowing us to carry in resturants is vauge so is the parks law. Some cities say its ok to carry while others say no.Some say no but dont bother to post .Out of the 8 cities in our county only one said no and has still not posted. In my opinion we need to push our legislators just as hard on both.Just make permit holders exempt.

Agreed.
But, at the same time it would be quite interesting to have a group of permit holders file an action to challenge the law in the court system. Wonder who?

Interesting and Expensive. What kind of funds would a group need.

Filing fees of up to $350 depending if we go state or federal - state is cheaper.
Aside from that, the least expensive would be with donated legal services but that is an undue burden perhaps. 2nd alternative would be for attorneys to work at discounted rates - that could still run thousands. 3rd option - not practical - is pay full rate.
We started a "Constitutional Action Fund" within TFA and are raising some funds - easily enough to cover filing fees so far. We need some business/corporate/dedicated funding sources to kick it in if we are going to seriously pursue this.

If I had a business that wanted to contribute how would they go about it?
Do they need to contact you directly?

I will talk to the local dealers in the morning.
Is it correct that contributions to this are not tax deductable?

Nothing to TFA is tax deductible except when we allow advertising and then that is potentially a business expense.
