Criminal trespass

Postby C. Richard Archie » Tue May 04, 2010 7:47 am

Considering all the things I have learned, and read about these issues of late, I have a question.

Does a hunter that crosses onto my property without permission, and being armed, fall under the "Criminal Trespass" code?

If not, why not?

Should I not as a porperty owner, have the same protections under State Law as a "Business" owner, and would not a working farm be considered a business?

If the property is posted - no trespass or restricted access - then yes, the state's criminal trespass law would apply.
