Results of March Meeting and guest for April

We had a full house to hear 8th Congressional candidate Steven Fincher at the March Stated meeting. I was pleased to see new folks this month, notably groups from Dyersburg and Lexington.

I gave a short report on this months victory with regard to the City Council action which removed the illegal requirements related to personal transfers of handguns within the confines of the City of Jackson and Madison County. We all owe thanks to Councilmen Randy Wallace Randy@WallaceWealthManagement.com, Frank Neudecker tnisfun@charter.net and Danny Ellis dannyellis@muellerandellis.com who were instrumental in these efforts on our behalf, as well as the rest of the Council for voting unanimously in favor of the change in the Ordinance to bring it into line with State law.

Our April 8th meeting will feature Col. James Harding, candidate for the Tennessee State Senate District 27 seat. The meeting room will be available at 5:30 for the meal and time to catch up, the program will begin at 7:00.
