Runners For Ramsey

Runners For Ramsey

Given that TFA is now endorsing Ron Ramsey, I thought maybe this wouldn't be off topic.

I am an avid runner, and am just now coming off a doctor mandated 6 week hiatus due to hematuria as a result of... probably too much running. But, I am back. And running through the areas I like to run, I have noticed only one Ron Ramsey sign. One. Single. Sign.

Being that I am not allowed to put up signs of my own, I thought the next best thing would be to wear them.

So, I want to start a Runners for Ramsey group, and I invite TFA members, who are also avid runners, to join in. (Or walkers, Bikers... 4-wheelers?)

The normal variety of sign should be easily available (I hope; am going to try to find one tomorrow morning) and able to be safety pin'd to your jogging shirt. Remember to tape up the spring or risk chest hair being caught and pulled. Also, if the sign rubbing causes discomfort, I suggest band-aids across the nips.

Now, while I'm usually accustomed to absolutely drop dead gorgeous women honking, yelling and trying to flag me down while running (all lies), I am hoping to change that attention to that of our future Governor, Mr. Ron Ramsey.

So, here we go, let's hope this an acceptable way to rock the vote. Let's face it, Ron Ramsey represents the 2nd Amendment rights we hold dear and any support we can give him would be, hopefully, beneficial.

I'll start the list:

fl0at - 7/19/2010 - 0.0 miles for Ramsey
fl0at - 7/20/2010 - 3.2 miles for Ramsey (the signs are way long, might have to have Staples shrink them)

**Update**
The signs I got were made out of what appeared to be recycled garbage bags. So, anyone who wrestled in high school and needed to lose water weight for a weigh in knows what its like to tie garbage bags around your body... they don't breathe.

Definitely going to have to re-think the presentation.
