Clinton: Racism Means Harder to Vote than Buy assault weapon

Former President Bill Clinton spoke at the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, where he invoked King’s memory to push for President Obama’s economic redistributionism. He linked King with Medicare and Medicaid, as well as the other pillars of Lyndon Baines Johnson’s welfare state. Clinton thanked Obama for his government interventionism and for Obamacare in the name of King. He called “inadequate income to pay for rising income” a “pre-existing condition” while suggesting that King would have hated gridlock.

“We must push open those stubborn gates,” Clinton said. Clinton suggested that the Supreme Court decision striking down a portion of the Voting Rights Act was an act of continuing racism. “A great democracy does not make it harder to vote than to buy an assault weapon. We must open those stubborn gates,” Clinton stated. “The great irony of the current moment is that the future has never brimmed with more possibilities. It has never burned brighter in what we could become if we push open those stubborn gates and if we do it together. The choice remains as it was on that distant summer day 50 years ago, cooperate and thrive, or fight with each other and fall behind.”

First consider the source: professional liar w taxpayer-funded armed SS guards for life. Consider the facts:
Buy a REAL assault rifle????? Here is the approximate series of steps:
1. find one for sale and discover it will cost upwards of $20,000 to buy a gun which only cost about $300 to make!!! Scarcity and high prices are due 100% to GVT-rules keeping the supply LOW
2. find full-auto dealer and fill out 3 page form.
3. get approved set of finger prints and pay for that service.
4. get passport photos & pay for them too.
5. get sheriff approval
6. write $200 check for the "transfer TAX"
send all that stuff to BATF...and......
7. wait 6 MONTHS for BTAF to get a "FBI background check' on YOU [which probably takes 15 minutes at best]
8. go to dealer and write a check for another $20,000 & get your full-auto ASSAULT RIFLE and all the papers, which bear a TAX STAMP in the amt of $200
9. carry the papers with you whenever you go to the range lest some doo-goober gets scared shirtless and calls 911 !!!
See, despite the propaganda In the leftist msm, legal assault rifle owners are really law-abiding folks willing to spend real money. They are NOT criminals and have passed stringent FBI background checks.

IF you do NOT want a real assault rifle, you COULD settle for a semi-auto 'copy' of one, say a AR15 or MAK90 [clone of an AK]. These will "only" cost you around $1000 for guns which probably cost the same as the full auto version to make. Pay for the NICS check..$10 and the "dealer transfer fee" of whatever he charges; say $25-$50. Pay for gun and fees and walk out...BUT you do NOT then own an ASSAULT RIFLE!!!! You own a semi-auto rifle like we've been shooting for 100 years.

Now to vote: get free voter registration card. Go to polls..show any government-issued ID w photo and..vote! DNoharder than cashing a check or buying a beer, or EASIER that getting a loan or waaay easier than getting on an airplane!!!..All of which BTW require a photo ID too!!!
