Selling a gun to an FFL of another state question.

I know an idividual can NOT sale a gun to non-FFL of another state. Can an individual sale a firearm to an out of state FFL? for example: Can a Tennessee resident sale a gun to a FFL at the Southaven gun show? or does the individual need to sale in state only?

You can sell a firearm directly to an FFL of ANY state. According to Federal law, any time a firearm transfer crosses a state line, the person receiving the firearm must be an FFL.

So, yes, you can sell to an out-of-state FFL who is at a gun show in TN. But, if he wants to sell a handgun to a TN resident, the sale must go through a TN FFL. He can sell a long-gun directly.
