If the restaurant law is unconstitutional shouldn't CH.428 also be unconstitutional?

How is anyone supposed to know if a school field trip is taking place somewhere on a 10,000 acre park?

How are visitors supposed to know if a no gun sign applies or doesn't apply?

For example this sign is posted in three or four spots at Radnor Lake State Park in Nashville.It specifically prohibits carry permit holders in the language.

Is a State Natural Area considered a state park?

I hope so. The ranger has seen me several times and carded me once. It is listed in the "" area of the State website.

I'm just complaining because normal State Parks usually just have signs which prohibit firearms. I think it is just the Radnor Lake people who have the cool signs which narrow it down further. I think it might be the tree hugger mentality of those who work out there. They'd probably shut the park down to people if they could.

A normal example is the Bicentennial Mall sign. It is similar to what you'll find most everywhere from what I understand.

To answer the question about signage, the legislature said that parks would not have to ACTIVELY change signage to comply with the new law. They did this to avoid a fiscal note. Parks were instructed to no longer include the "no firearms allowed" verbiage in NEW signs, but they don't have to take down the old signs until its time to replace them anyway.

We (TFA members) offered to go to the state parks & remove the various "No Guns" signs, gratis, thus eliminating any fiscal note...but they compromised by leaving existing signs up until replace, as noted.
