Discussion of Restaurant carry on local radio

Postby netmindr » Wed Jul 01, 2009 11:27 am

I spoke with a representative of the TFA this past weekend at the gun show in Smyrna and he mentioned that there was going to be a discussion on the suit against the recent restauant carry law on local radio this Thursday between members of the TFA, legistaltors and members of the opposing lawsuit.

Is this accurate and when and where can we listen for it?

Yes. Here's some information on it from the latest TFA Legislative Alert:

Also on July 2, 2009, we are expecting to see a 2 hour radio show on WAMB Nashville (AM1200) by radio host Bob Pope (the same as formerly Bob Pope's Gun Shows) with guests Sen. Doug Jackson, Sen. Jim Tracy, Rep. Ben West, Nicole Goeser, and John Harris. The show will be live and, barring technical problems, will be streaming live from the TFA Live portion of the TFA Website. It will also be archived on Bob's website by July 10.

The show is scheduled to air from 11:00Am to 1:00PM.

On July 7, 2009, John Harris will be the guest on Newschannel5+ Openline (Comcast 50) from 7pm to 8pm to discuss the parks law and answer questions about Tennessee's gun laws. Viewers can call 615 737-PLUS (7587) from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday
