As of 4/6, the restaurant bill HB 2225 is still stuck in a House subcommittee. It has been reset for hearing on April 20 - the last date scheduled for that subcommittee to meet.
Here is the good news, we now have 28 co-sponsors on the bill. We need at least 50 to send the democrats (McMillan, Sontany and Henri Brooks) on that subcommittee the CLEAR message that we have the votes to pass this legislation on the floor NOW. If we do get 50+ sponosors, we have some chance of passing this legislation this year - if not, well - we have been there before haven't we?
We need a concerted effort to find replacements for McMillan, Briley, Coleman, Sontany and even Naifeh if you want to see 2nd Amendment legislation passed.
