Shelby County TFA Meeting 8/17/06

2770 Whitten Rd. in Memphis. (Please support Range USA & Mabel's Kitchen every chance you can!) If you haven't eaten at Mabel's Kitchen yet, you've missed a treat!
I have invited, but not confirmed yet, Chris Cope, the armed citizen who stopped the crazed, knife wielding attacker at an area grocery store.
Also, we will be planning events and strategy this meeting. Please be checking your calendars to see if you could help staff our TFA table at the Bartlett Celebration, Saturday, October 7th. And, to work with the Friends Of The NRA for the 3rd Annual St. Jude Charity Machine Gun Shoot Saturday, September 23, 2006 hosted by our friends at Range USA.
Speaking of Friends Of The NRA, at the meeting, I will be getting our list for the TFA table at the Memphis Friends Of the NRA banquet, Thursday, October 19th.
Lastly, we will be discussing our strategy to move pro-gun bills forward, and stop anti-gun legislation, in the House, or self described "lower house" side of the Tennessee General Assembly. This will only be accomplished by firing the current anti-gun Speaker, Jimmy Naifeh (D-Covington) and removing his comrades, that he commands to kill all pro-gun legislation, from the oxymoronic Constitutional "Protections" Subcommittee. That will be accomplished by a Republican majority.
We have new TFA apparel in form Nashville and there will be a drawing for Range USA & TFA T-shirts. We'll promptly adjourn at 8:30 (20:30). I look forward to seeing you there.
