Reminder - Shelby County TFA MEETING Thursday, 1-20-05
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you!
The Shelby County Chapter of the Tennessee Firearms Association will meet 1-20-05 at 7:00 PM at Range USA:
http://www.rangeusa.com/
2770 Whitten Rd. in Memphis.
I'm pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Captain Bobby Simmons with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office - Detective Division. Captain Simmons will be speaking about crime in Shelby County and how that relates to the armed citizen. He has a wealth of experience and this will no doubt be an interesting and informative meeting.
Captain Simmons will also share his thoughts on these and other subjects as a new Bartlett Alderman. On behalf of TFA, I'd like to congratulate Captain Simmons on his victory in the Bartlett Alderman's race.
Also, I'd like to reserve a few minutes of everyone's time after Captain Simmons speaks to get ideas from our members on goals for our Shelby County TFA in 2005. The meeting will adjourn at 8:30, but I'll stay and meet with anyone after the meeting as long as they like, or until Scott, Range USA'a owner, throws us out.
As the new director, I have some very BIG shoes to fill as David Waldrip served us so well in the past, and Rich Mason before him. I will do my best. See you there!
In Liberty,
Pat McGarrity
Director - Shelby County TFA
