Warning-A Decade After The Revolution

I write today to remind you, my fellow Gun Owners and Conservatives, of the evil nature of those who would assault our Rights. It's easy to become complacent but please don't think our opponents have just given up and gone away. Our struggle is a lifetime one.

It's ironic that a radical infringement on American's Civil Rights was the catalyst for a peaceful revolution that shifted the balance of power in our government, a shift which remains in effect to this day. Although Republicans have much room for improvement when it comes to reducing the spending of OUR MONEY, and need to rein in leftist RINOs who violate our Constitution like John McCain, they have been in control of congress for 10 years now.

Republicans can largely thank the 1994 Clinton/Feinstein "assault weapons ban" for their control of congress. In the 1994 elections, democrats took a serious beating over supporting the ban. Bill Clinton has even admitted this himself, in a rare and perhaps unintentional moment of truth telling. And Sen. Feinstein has admitted this unconstitutional abomination was never about reducing crime, but about the incremental erosion of our Rights.

Although we canceled our subscription to the Communist Appeal, they threw one in our driveway anyway New Year's Eve. In it, was a reminder of how hateful and self serving gun grabbing marxists can be. In 1994, I wrote and called my Senator, Jim Sasser, asking him, as my representative in the U.S. Senate, not to vote for the upcoming ban. Senator Sasser wrote me back saying that he would indeed support me as a Tennessee Gun Owner and not violate my Civil Rights. Then, a week after promising to protect my Rights, he voted, lock-goose-step, along with his democrat comrades and some RINOs for the ban. Sasser voted the way Bill Clinton told him to and violated our Second Amendment Rights. The following article shows Sasser, in his arrogance, didn't expect any fallout from his lying to his constituents. And although he took an oath to serve the people of Tennessee, Sasser actually tried to put his own constituents out of work by attempting to renege on his help during a personal pity party. "...Sasser wasn't happy when he learned Millington residents had voted against him 2-to-1 when he was defeated in 1994 by Bill Frist.”

"So I called the secretary of the Navy, who was a friend of mine, I said look, forget it, go ahead and close the Navy base in Millington if you want to," Sasser said in a recent telephone interview. "He said no, Jim, it's too late."

”Sasser said he wasn't kidding."

The reason I bring this to your attention today is to remind you that there will be unconstitutional bills in the future and that we must continue to hold our "public servants" accountable; always. And, to remind you of the hateful, self consumed nature of our opposition. As for Sasser specifically and his lust for power, if he were to run for any office, including dog catcher, here in Tennessee, I would do everything in my power to see that this liar and enemy of our Constitution would be defeated.
