Basically, it is an organization that encourages marksmanship. I signed up for the event being held this weekend in Manchester. I haven't ever gone before, but I am enthusiastic. I encourage other TFA members to attend as able.

I have been talking with local friends about it for a while now. I would like to see TFA Chapters perhaps work with the organization to host local events in conjunction with one or more local ranges.

I thought about going to this one, don't really wanna burn up 400 rounds of 5.56 for a 25m shoot, though. I gotta pick up a 10/22 soon.

Lemon, you can use a .22 if you want.

I personally am going to take my AR, and use the good ammo. I think it will be worth it anyway.

John, I wanted to do one back when I ran Chattanooga, but I just was not able to get the time off to do it. Appleseed is rather open to other people helping set them up. It is very likely local TFA chapters could use them as a form of recreational recruiting. Get people to come, and somewhere insert a thank you to the TFA for helping set this event up. Short TFA story follows. People hear about us, some join. Just a thought.

Got to meet SomeGuy. The TFA hat caught my attention. Good fella and I'll offer my assistance now to any shoot - Appleseed or other - that he wants to put on.

It was good to meet you as well Usagi. I wore my TFA hat for that very reason, I wanted people to get some TFA recognition.

How far are you from Prentice Cooper? I sometimes go there.

Does Appleseed have a website or do you no anyone to contact.
