I'm sorry....I know this guy is popular in some circles, but he comes off like an ignorant blowhard whenever he opens his mouth. Republican? Pfffttt...What Republican thinks they have a right to taxpayer subsidized health insurance? Also, Micheal Moore is (was?) a member of the NRA. Political posturing & pandering doesn't impress me. If this legislation took anyone by surprise, then it shows they aren't paying enough attention to be taken the slightest bit seriously...The bill gives the power to the businesses (that are supposedly "outraged") to keep guns off of their property. So what is the problem? Also, he has stated previously that he isn't concerned about permit holders, just the drunks (being drunk in public is illegal, btw) that might take their guns off them. Now he says he is worried about Glock owners (does he understand most cops carry Glocks?) discharging their weapons on accident. It seems he can't decide what his real position is...he moves the goalposts on a whim.
By the way, according to his Wiki, his name isn't even Adam Dread.
John, is a defamation suit in order here in regards to his lies about you?

People are buying guns to protect themselves from criminals and the government itself just as Thomas Jefferson warned and for the same reason the 2nd amendment exists. When the government fears the people there is tyranny. The passing of the bill was not a suprise,,lol, omg, maybe if you were rip van winkle and had just awoken. and as for a glock going off from being dropped, well,, maybe if someones finger hit the trigger on the way down,,hahaaa, this bozo is obviously trying to instill fear in people with his lies, i would suggest glock ,the NRA,and the TFA, and the PTA go after his butt. what a laugh

"it would be death sentence to the tourist economy."
If the liberal Nashville news media published the 2008 FBI Uniform Crime Stats (
http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/08aprelim/table_4ok-wi.html ) , now that would be a real death sentence to the tourist industry in Nashville. There were increases in 7 of 9 crime categories in Nashville. Fewer robberies did decrease overall violent crime, but rape, murders and assaults increased. That's why HB0962 is necessary. The walk from our car to the restaurant, and vice versa, in the dark of night in downtown Nashville should be of concern. Just let them walk by themselves from Ruth Chris to their parked car on Hayes Street at about 10:00 at night and see how safe they feel. Don't they know visitors from other states have already seen firearms postings in their states. It's nothing new to them. What we have here is some locals afraid of losing business if they post.

Its not my quote, and no i don't mean opposite, when the government fears the people it means they're up to no good, trying to control everything, being tyrants, they have no reason to fear law abiding citizens unless they are up to no good.thats why they want to control every aspect of our lives, because they are up to no good.

Man, if knowledge is a weapon, someone has already disarmed our opponents...
