Got a better count of attendees from the guys who were running the tents where the petitions were at, 2800+ signatures. The local paper put the number at "over 2500". My first count was just from one petition drive evidently, I thought it looked like a lot more than 600, but I have been known to emulate a progenitor of my own, Samuel Clemens, (Mark Twain) and embellish somewhat, so I caution myself so as not to be guilty of the oppositions tactics.
Not too bad for a little backwood enclave, hopefully, the first city in Tennessee to uphold the citizen's right to legally carry in Parks!

The Crowd at the Courthouse.
Getting ready, the young man on the right , Jeff Rice, is a firebrand, a great speaker, and soon to be compatriot.
Me sweating out the speech.
