Posted: Sun Jun 14, 2009 1:00 amObama's attack on the second amendment comes in many forms. It is kind of like the greek mythology monster with many heads. The latest one that I have seen is taking place here in East Tennessee and TVA is being used as the tool.
I don't know if anyone much knows about it, but TVA is in the process of closing the pistol range that has been managed by Loudoun area FOP 21 for the last 30 years. This is being done over the objections of the Lenoir City police department, the Loudoun county sheriff's department, and 300 members of the FOP. I have used the range, my self for the last 10 years.
The reason given is some people have complained and they are worried about the enviornment.
What has changed is we have elected a gun controlling Nazi to the White House. This bunch of second amendment haters have told TVA to shut down all ranges on their land. This gang of gun control rats have tried to shut down ranges all over the United States and now they have set their sights on East Tennessee.
In my blog on WBIR.com entitled "TVA goes into the gun control business" I go into some depth about this. This is a shame and shouldn't be allowed to go unchallenged. I urge everyone to call John Duncan, Lamar Alexander, and Bob Corker and ask for their help.
The man responsible for this little bit of Obama gun control is a man called Darrell Cuthbertson, Manager of the Little Tennessee Watershed Team Land and Water Stewardship. He seems to have forgotten that this land belongs to the people and is not his personal property. His majesty's phone number is (865) 632-1315. If you love the second amendment, you might want to give his office a call.
