I have done several types of radio, tv and streamed talk shows. One of those, which is internet based, is a possible consideration for using for TFA as perhaps a periodic (maybe even weekly during part of the legislative session) live show where TFA members and the public could listen and participate live in the conversation either by voice and/or by live chat.

The service is called TalkShoe (www.talkshoe.com). I would appreciate hearing feedback from any who have experience with it or similar services.

I would also like to get some feedback on how many are interested in participating. My thought is probably doing it on Sunday or Monday evening around 8pm cst for 30 minutes to and hour.

I am up for anything that gets our message out, I have no experience with the venue, but am willing to participate.

If there was interest in setting up a podcast or vidcast type show for TFA I'd be more than happy to help, I have a ton of experience doing Internet based live call in shows. We could also bicycle the show onto community access TV stations across the state for a wider audience.

I am open to learning about these options because I think it would be a real help in networking TFA, GOA and NRA members with something that is more interactive than just emails.

Are you experienced with Talkshoe or some similar internet based real time conferencing?

JayC, sounds like I need to sit down with you one morning, perhaps over breakfast or lunch and learn more about this.

I have some experience with internet "radio" as well. I also have a suped up Mac that is perfect for making/editing video, editing audio and the like. I would love to help out with this if my assistance would be needed....
