From the perspective of advancing legislation which has been stalled in the Tennessee House of Representatives for much of the last 14 years, the prospect of removing Jimmy Naifeh as Speaker of the Tennessee House may be seen by some as a long wished for Christmas gift from the Tennessee Republican Party (and for that matter, from several conservative Democrats who would vote with Jimmy Naifeh in fear rather than in accordance with the demands of the Second Amendment and responsible gun owners)
