Hey lilred.. No listen bro, I totally understand that.. & those people should not feel guilty about NOT giving more. You are right about those priorities. I do however know that there's a good chance some of us could be cutting out a few cans of coke or whatever, & funneling the money we save into protecting our rights. That's all I'm saying.. For instance with me, I gave up Starbucks almost completely, so that I could use the money I was wasting there, to funnel to the TFA. I'm by no means saying that's the right thing for everyone to do, I'm just encouraging people to do everything they can. If you can't, you can't & nobody should feel bad if they know that this isn't the right time to put that in their budget.. When I said adding it to your family budget, that's assuming you have a budget that is stable at the time you decide to do it. I've had times when I couldn't do what I'm doing now financially, so I totally understand. I'm just stating a fact, if we don't (as a whole) fight back with some $$$, we're going to lose..
Writing letters helps sometimes, but with the arrogance of Politicians today, they poll everything. They don't care if it's right or wrong, & people writing letters doesn't do as much to convince them, as seeing ads in the newspaper, or billboards saying: "so & so, is violating YOUR rights, vote for this guy instead... Know what I mean? Many of them only care about how it's polling, not whether or not it's constitutional or moral.
