Franklin Gun Shop Broken Into. List of Stolen Guns...

Postby Tim Nunan » Thu Apr 16, 2009 2:21 pm

ATTN: Tennessee gun dealers. This just received from Franklin Gun Shop. Seems that no matter how careful you are and how good an alarm system you have there is always someone out there desperate enough to exercise what they seem to believe is their God-given right to take from others.

PAWN SHOP OPERATORS SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY VIGILANT FOR SOMEONE TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK BY PAWNING ONE OF THESE FIREARMS.

************************************************** ***
Our shop was burglarized early this morning and the following guns
stolen.

Kahr MK40 .40 s/n HA1632
Kahr PM40 .40 s/n WB0877
Kahr CW45 .45 s/n SD0409
Sig 229 .9mm s/n AM100043
Sig 226 .22 s/n U818287
Sig 239 .357 s/n SA456333
Sig 220 .45 s/n G421604
Savage 112 .220Swift s/n F513147

Despite a comprehensive alarm system, the burglars managed a quick smash-n-grab through the wall (only vulnerable spot in whole building) and stayed below motion sensors before setting off the alarm.

Would appreciate your putting this out to the FFL's ASAP. Thanks.

Had received a heads up on another forum that the Franklin Gun Shop had some LR primers in stock. I called them on Monday and purchased a few over the phone, and asked them to hold them till I could get up there from Jackson on Tuesday. I pulled into their parking lot about 11:45 AM yesterday, to find the parking lot cordoned off with parked cars, and a large sign saying the shop was closed. I called the phone number and got an emergency number, evidently the Owners cell phone. I called that number and explained my situation, and he brought the primers out to the parking lot. I am sure they had other things to do at the moment, and I appreciate him saving me the wasted trip.
