What If Christopher Newsom Was Armed?

I have been following the trial of Letalvis Cobbins on WBIR and I can't but wonder what would have happened if on the fateful night these beasts in human form had accosted his girl friend as she was getting into her car, if Christopher Newsom had a carry permit and a glock 9MM in his glove box. He apparently got out of his car and went to help her, and was captured for rape, torture and murder as well.
After watching that animal Cobbins talking about having oral sex with Shannon Christian in exchange for his help in getting his brother to let her go, and looking at the face of the girl's father in court, I think justice would have been much better served if Newsom had shot the lot of them in the parking lot.
That would be one jury I would have loved to sit on. On Tuesday, August 25 at 7 pm, Knoxville City Council is going to hear an ordinance, introduced by councilman Steve Hall to let carry permit holders carry in city parks and on knoxville's dangerous bike trails. Please contact members of Knoxville City Council and Mayor Haslam and tell them to say NO to more gun control. Attend the meeting and show your support. Let's not be sexist here ...... what if Channon Christian was armed?

My son was a classmate of Channon Christian and sat next to her in several classes. After her murder my son got his HCP and carries everywhere he can. He has had the need to use it once. He was approached by 4 men in the parking lot of Knoxville Center Mall (formerly known as East Towne Mall) late one night. He opened his coat to show them his handgun in his waistband ....... they decided to go another direction.
