I recently attended a TFA meeting presided over by Richard Archie, where Ron Ramsey was the guest speaker. I had never met Ron, I had barbeque covering my hands when I did, and did not realize that he was this important individual. We acknowledged one another, I did shake hands later with clean hands,, hahaa, He seemed laid back, easy to talk to, not pushy or anxious, I had no idea this man was a politician. after giving a brief bio of himself and listening to him speak on his love for the constitution, his country, and the individual rights of states and citizens,he delivered off the cuff ,it was easy to see this was not a contrived speech , but a matter of heart felt fact. I encourage anyone who has the chance to hear Ron speak, do so! make the time, I posed a question to him ,concerning posse comitatus,as it effects habeas corpus ,the patriot act, and then a law he helped pass barring government from confiscating firearms from law abiding citizens in the state of emergency ,the freedom firearms act (our states declaration of sovereignty) ,and should the Fed under declared emergency enter our state to impose themselves on our citizenry to confiscate and detain, what could we do?,, Answer:,,, "If I were Governor,I would meet them at the borders and stop them!" the room erupted in applause and cheers. The man was sincere and without hesitation in his answer. Is your freedom and your liberty important to you? No man is an island but it's the many with strong leadership that conquer evil.,,, So please do go see Mr. Ramsey at your first opportunity, you will be be glad you did.

I have known Ron Ramsey probably 15 years. I encourage everyone to take the time to learn about his campaign, look at his history and take him seriously. It will be hard to beat his qualifications as governor - unless someone pulls a Bredesen and "buys" it.....

I've known Ron for a number of years. He attends church where I do. Ron has been a very straight-up guy in all my dealings with him, be they political or otherwise. I've been impressed with his positions and convictions regarding conservative values, constitutional freedoms and the like. I do believe he would make a fine governor.
