WTB Glock 17

Postby NeuralFizz » Tue Jul 21, 2009 7:31 am

Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy a Glock 17, which is the full sized 9mm. I live in Murfreesboro and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance. I have Bill of Sale forms for the transaction as well.

Thanks.

Just curious...why the 17? Just me personally: If I am going to carry a "full-sized" handgun, I would prefer it to be a .45ACP. The only real reason I carry the caliber that I do is because of concealability.

Good question! I won't be carrying the gun (at least not right now). This is the first pistol I'll own (I own other guns though) and out of all the guns that I've tried out, my wife likes the 17 the best. I will be leaving it at home for home defense when I'm gone, so I want something that my wife is comfortable with. Even compared to XDs, berettas, or anything, my wife likes the Glock 17 the best. Guess she has good tastes. :)
Plus 9mm ammo is cheap and easy to find here in Murfreesboro compared to 40 S&W and .45 ACP.

Wow, nobody jumping on that one for ya.

Considering where you are located, drive up to Specialty Arms in LaVerne and check out the used case.

They sometimes get a boatload of LEO trade ins and always have some new ones in the case by the door.

Aright, thanks. I'll check them out. Still looking though if anyone comes up with one.
