I spoke with Cam Edwards (Cam & Company) on nranews.com from Pie In The Sky Restaurant out in Cool Springs (Nashville area) on the effective date of the Restaurant Carry Law. I was conceal carry just as the other 25+ handgun carry permit holders who were with me. Two gentlemen even brought their children to enjoy dinner with us. ;) The manager was very nice and had NO PROBLEM with us being there carrying. He actually thanked us.

As a Handgun Carry Permit holder I am completely in favor of being able to protect myself and my family in a restaurant or anywhere else. I do have one question. My understanding is Tennessee is a concealed carry state. Is it also legal to open carry in our state with a Handgun Carry Permit?
