Carry in Hotels...

Postby Sphinx1906 » Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:38 pm

More specifically, my question is in regard to carry in hotels that have bars inside. If staying at one of these hotels, is it ok for a permit holder to carry a loaded handgun up to the room in which he/she will be staying?

Well, as of July 14 when the restaurant law goes into effect, the answer will be more clearly yes.

However, even now, it could easily be argued that the restriction only replies to the restaurant area itself which is often segregated and open to the general public whereas your room is not.
