Cookeville places its' meeting minutes online for public review at .
If other municipalities do the same, it may be helpful, and illuminating, if TFA could compile and link to a page listing these locations.

There was a "posting problem" on the site a for a few weeks...the 18 June 2009 agenda was up for two weeks. I reported it to the webmaster, and he fixed it (he was concerned that there was a problem). Still, I couldn't avoid being a little paranoid, since the 25 June meeting was where they apparently started to discuss, but deferred, a resolution banning carry in local parks.
For the city council itself:

Evidently, Rutherford County doesn't list any parks on its website.
