John was a call in guest on one of our local talk shows this afternoon for 2 hours. I can promise that he earned my total respect for having the stamina and patience to deal with this one.

As usual, he went above and beyond the call of duty.

RK has a show in July in Jackson. TFA is planning to have a dozen or so members from Nashville drive over on Saturday to set up a TFA booth. Hopefully, we can get Memphis chapter to work the Sunday portion but details not worked out yet.

I have several individuals willing to help work the table at the show, both Sat. and Sun., as well as hoping to get together Sat. night for a meal. I have talked to one of out RKBA friendly restaurants, (Brooksies Barn) and have tentatively set us up there if interested.

On the same program this afternoon, Frankie actually tried to give John a plug, but got his last name wrong, called him John Smith??? I had to call in and correct that, actually spent about 20 minutes on the phone, the guest was Frank Neudecker, a Conservative candidate for Mayor of Jackson, between the two of us, we wore Bredesen, Serpas and Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell out. Did the term "political hack" fall out of somebody's mouth in regard to Serpas? Could be.
