some guy,
I will write who i please and when i please, and any lack of punctuations does not negate the message, it was and is my intention to let him know he outraged tennessseans who view the constitution and the bill of rights as a critical document to be upheld for the good of it's citizens and the good of the nation, i'm sorry if my writing's are not your cup of tea, however i didn't send it as a TFA representative, i only shared it, in hopes others would submit their own dissatisfaction with him in their own way,, so coach who your choose, i follow no one, i follow my own personal integrity, thank you very much

BWM,

It was suggestions, take it however you wish, or not at all. It was intended to be constructive that we may best influence the elected officials to support and preserve our rights.

Situations such as this, show forth the absolute necessity for us to grow the membership of the TFA. Only by having the numbers can we be effective in our voicing of support or displeasure of the actions of our elected officials.

Bredesen has proved that he is a want-to-be candidate for membership in the Ruling Elite, assuming superior knowledge of the good and ill with respect to legislation, and by association, our very lives. No matter the vote record with respect to the bill, his ilk considers that they know best how to constrain the masses. He will not reconsider his action, the very breath used to deride or condemn him at this point is wasted.

Only concerted, calm responses to our legislators will have any possible positive effect on the final outcome of this issue. We must find like minded citizens to state their opinions to the Representatives and Senators. New voices unheard prior to this must be found and included in the response if we are to prevail. A virtual ground swell of Righteous Indignation must be orchestrated or we can admit defeat at the hands of the few who would be our masters, not our servants.

This may have already been covered, but I called myself looking through the forums & couldn't find it. Now that Bredesen has vetoed hb0962, his veto can be over-ridden. Who should we contact to voice our opinion on this? All I've been able to find is "contact your legislators". I hate to out myself as uneducated in our political process, but I *am* a product of Memphis City Schools :)

Would I want to contact State Senators: Sen. Beverly Robison Marrero (D-30) and State Representatives: Rep. Jeanne D. Richardson (D-89)? They are the ones listed for my area. Obviously it is pointless to contact Bredesen.

Is a phone call or an email more effective? A phone call shows you care enough to pick up the phone, but an email is a lasting record...

Thanks very much.

Sent to phil.bredesen@tn.gov:

-------------------------------------

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am one of Governor Bredesen's constituents in East Tennessee. I have contacted my state representative repeatedly in support of HB 962. Governor Bredesen's veto demonstrates that he is no friend of the Second Amendment, his statements to the contrary notwithstanding. Please be advised that, as things stand now, I will actively work to ensure that Governor Bredesen has no future in local, state, or national politics. If Governor Bredesen wishes to avoid my opposition and that of my fellow Tennesseans, he must undergo a true change of heart regarding the fundamental principles of liberty. The people of Tennessee are lovers of freedom, and we will not continue to tolerate infringements upon our liberty.

Please transmit my message to Governor Bredesen.

Respectfully,

Drew Rankin

I also put my street address on there so he can look me up if he wants to.

good for you drew, and thank you, thats what i was talking about when i was chastised by some guy like he's my daddy or something, whether anyone believes it or not, whenever evil has reared it's ugly head ,change was not made by super polite politically correct letters, when your too scared to state your heartfelt beliefs, your nothing more than dust in the wind. state the truth ,then stand and deliver. i wonder how many flowery politically correct letters sit unread or even completely unopened. when criminals wield guns upon the innocent you can't stop them by saying, ,will you please put that down and listen to reason for a moment?,,,,,, so that means you tell it like it is, encourage others to do the same, look these people ,crooks i call them who think they know what we deserve better than we do which is always less than they deserve in their minds i assure you, then when the polls are open vote them out on the street where they belong. but being some sort of scared little coward afraid to speak their position just dont cut it, cause meanwhile the ball keeps rollin getting bigger, when a school yard bully knows he has no opposition other than words, there is no deterrent, so you have this evil in control surrounded by crying baby's pleading nicely for mercy, the bully laughs deeply, at their cowardice, you dont just need to grow the numbers in TFA, you need to grow the numbers in everyone you know as to what not just our state level of government is doing to steal and contain within it's grip it's citizens but the federal level as well, we dont need just a bunch of grammatically correct stenographer's, we need all citizen's to wake up and smell the coffee, and grow a pair,, just because someone states an opinion from a point of defiance it doesnt mean that person is going "postal" i wasn't born a cowardly, blind, look for the good in evil type, and i wont be made or cohearsed to live that way. just as liberals flood the un-informed with propaganda and the corrupt smile while spewing deceit, i choose to encourage everyone i know to be outraged at what their government is doing to their heritage and their rights, and liberties and the bleek future that will be left to our children and grandchildren. I could care less about 15 minutes of fame or some position on some forum or board or company or anything but i wont now nor never will be told how to conduct my speak where it concerns my heritage and the future of my country,

Greetings ladies and gentlemen.

This is my first post just joined.

Calling emailing, writing are all fine and i have done all three.

But now, boycotts have the potential to crush our opponents. If you own a gun,i beseech you to stay out of establishments that sell alcohol.

In fact,quit drinking entirely.

The names rochelle, sutherland, mcwherter should be well known to many of us,all dems and all tied to the booze biz. if you have republicans in the business please post. continuing to drink puts money in their pockets.

Set on your money. don't buy the tennessean, only go to their web site once a day.

most importantly, boycott their advertisers. email ,call and write them that you cannot do business with them as long as they evidently support the gannett party line.

best of all, none of this requires you to do much of anything. see how long till they howl. best of all you save money while they suffer.

further as long as serpas and his ilk[his ilk being a company goon, the counter part of union thugs, serpas protects the illegal aliens and their employers, but that is another thread],the fop,and any other police orginazation ask for donations, tell them no and why.

Individual and coordination action - where the recipient understands that its a response and not just a coincidence - will have a positive impact.

On the chiefs and DA's, its a voting issue. If its a DA, we vote on them. If its a chief or other appointee, then we have to put the focus on those elected officials who appoint them and let them know that this veto stunt will impact not just votes but votes against, work against and money against them in the next election. Elected officials don't care if they loose one or two votes on an issue. They do care when grassroots individuals worked and invest in their defeat.

when Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas eve,i was cold and icy,and a holiday weekend.

i think staying out of places that serve alcohol, is a very small irritation ,not even reaching the level, not even close to what one would consider a sacrifice.

remember, bredson and serpas are sitting by you at dinner. company i would not like to keep.
