Selling guns out of state

Postby David » Sun Mar 08, 2009 8:26 am

I have a few guns I'm looking to sell and one guy in Ohio is interested in one of them. I've never sold online before so I'm wanted to cover my tail and make sure I'm doing everything legally before I jump in. So how do go about doing this?

I know the gun has to be sent to an FFL dealer, but I'm not clear if it has to be sent to and FFL from an FFL or if I can send it directly to his dealer myself.

If I can send it myself how do I verify his FFL?

Thanks,

David

You will need to verify and obtain a signed copy of the FFL. Then you can ship directly to the FFL. You do not have to deliver to an FFL in TN and then have them ship it for you.
