Another way to increase exposure to the general public is to increase the number of chapters throughout the state.
The four active chapters (Shelby County, Knoxville, Chattenooga and Lakeway) are a good start and with the interest in the Nashville area chapter is good. If we can get one in the Tri Cities area we'd have pretty good coverage. When these chapters publish their meetings in the media it surely reminds gun owners we're out there.
Press releases are good but of course depend on the media deciding to print them. Individuals writing for their local papers and doing radio shows are inexpensive.
Going as a group (with TFA shirts) to a FONRA dinner gets some recognition as well; and don't forget the gun shows.
