Dont know about others, but when I was on jury duty here in Covington a while back, the judge instructed us to bring our knowledge and common sense to be applied as well as the "facts". So you have the "knowledge" of 11 people as well as they're combined "common sense" and the"facts" to consider. Worked well for us. Not sure what you mean by "jury nullification". My understanding is everyone has a right to be heard by a jury of their peers. It might not always work that way, but should as far as Im concerned. Would much rather be heard and tried by my peers instead of some nut case "I think Im God" judge.
