I've heard from several sources over the years that Tennessee has a law which states that if the reason a person gets caught carrying a concealed weapon in a restricted place is because they were forced to us it in self defense that this person cannot be charged with illegal carry.
Is this true? If so, what is this law called?

Tom, I have searched all over the net for this law. Can't seem to find it in TN. Do you have a reference or link?
