Handgun carry on TVA land

I was told yesterday by a respected (but not absolute) source that it is now legal to carry on TVA land that is still posted.

One of the reasons there was reluctance to change the law was that it would be too expensive to change all the signs so the TFA and other parties agreed to leave the signs alone if the law change could take effect. This was "supposedly" done quite recently.

It would include developed land that is not for hunting purposes only.

Can anyone clear this up for me and either confirm or deny?

I know that there were efforts made to work something out but I am not aware that any agreement was reached.
