Virginia reciprocity elimination

I read a post on another gun forum that Va. is going to stop reciprocity with a large number of states, Tennessee being one of them.

The apparent reason is because the Va. attorney general seems to think that the states on the list do not have high enough standards for permit requirements like finger printing, class time and range proficiency etc.

My friend in Va; who is an active member of the VCDL told me Va. doesn't even finger print or require live firing to obtain its permit.

The Va.attorney general is a Democrat, go figya This is a major step backwards IMHO.

I'm shocked there hasn't been more posts on here about this. This is absolutely disastrous for those of us that live near the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Tennesseans, Kentuckians and Virginians drive in and out each state daily. I have family in all three. Many commute to and from work. The Arlington and Richmond areas of Va. are full on communist these days and dictate to the rest of the state. They have NEVER done a damned thing for SW Virginia except ride roughshod over the conservatives that are in the vast majority there. This better get fixed or there will be all kinds of trouble.
