Looking forward 2006 Election cycle

Now is the time, if not sooner, that we start planning for our efforts in 2006. One question that needs some discussion right off of the bat is, given the size, presence and agenda of TFA -- What other organizations should be consider as possible allies in a coordinated effort to displace the existing House leadership (or is that even our agenda?)?

I know its MY agenda. Neifeh's from my town and I plan to help whoever runs against him. Already showing people what a corrupt and power hungry politician he is (I think most are) by letting them see the side we saw the other day. Over half the people I work with in Memphis, live up here by me. And about all voted for Neifeh, so I've already started. I would like to see the NRA give Neifeh an "F" rating and all those other anti-gun demos(and reps if the shoe fits) and pound it in the members heads over and over. I would say that anyone that wants change in the state capitol would be somewhat of an allie. Might have to fight them later, though.

I am going to do what ever I can to see Soltany doesn't get another chance to kill restaurant carry in committee. She just don't get it and never will.

While it may well apply to others these are state representatives that have enjoyed A or B ratings from the NRA yet failed to cosponsor HB 2225 and voted against discharging HR 887 for a floor vote. We can only hope that this will adversely affect future ratings:

Borchert, Curtiss, L. DeBerry, Fowlkes, Hood, Maddox, Tindell, L. Turner, Winnigham.


Now this group is even more perturbing. They cosponsored HB 2225 yet voted against discharging HB 887. The four marked with * had also cosponsored HR 887. Guess they only joined in knowing it would be killed:

Davidson, Ferguson, Fizthugh, *Fraley, Hackworth, *Harmon, Litz, *Overbey, *Roach, Shepard.

This list should be retained and used when speaking to these "representatives"; just who are they representing?
