Hunting rifle match in Knoxville

Want to know how that super magnum works at long range? On November 8, Volunteer Rifle & Pistol Club in Knoxville will hold a 300 yard match designed for hunting rifles.

Shooters will get 5 sight-in shots, then 20 rounds for record, 10 slow fire and 10 rapid fire. The rapid fire stage will be in 2 round segments.

There are two classes, standard and enhanced hunting rifles. The latter allows higher power scopes and bipods.

Entry fee is $20 for non-members. Registration starts at 9:00.
