My daughter works by herself at a vapor store and was asking about being able to keep a handgun at work. Her boss did not like the idea of a scatter gun since it is harder to wield in a conflict with a better chance of being taken away and used against her. TN law 39-17-1319 says she can transport it from point A to point B. I would like to know if anyone would know the law about someone under 21 years of age to have access to defend herself should the need arise.

Thank you for the reply. It seems this is a grey area since she is no longer a mior. Would an email to the state attorney general be a place to start? I could find nothing specific on the subject in the TN gun laws.
