No that the product liability lawyers have it covered; has anyone swapped parts to turn a 9mm into a .40S&W?
The statement above was listed on the FAQ page and really does not address the question. The above answer seems to state that you should not use a "Centerfire Kit" on a original 9mm. But those kits are intended to allow you to shoot a centerfire with your pistol that was originally made in .22.
I know that the spring will have to be changed as well as the barrel and the magazine if this is to work.
This 229 is of the latest manufacturing (2013).
The new 229 is hardly "standard" as it has all the new updates and beefed up areas.
Trying to save $800 on another new pistol.
Advice, please.
