Lawmakers in North Carolina passed on Tuesday expanded rights for concealed carry permit holders, making it legal for gun owners to bring their weapons into bars and restaurants and other public areas previously prohibited.

Republican Gov. Pat McCrory is expected to sign it into law within the next few days, The Associated Press reported.
Currently, gun owners in North Carolina aren’t allowed to carry weapons into any establishment that serves alcohol. The new bill gives permitted holders the legal authority to bring guns into those facilities, so long as the owner doesn’t object, AP reported.

The bill also gives gun owners the ability to bring their concealed weapons onto playgrounds and other public places of recreation, AP reported.

I say make it simple: Just make it so a Tennessean should be able to keep and bear arms any place wherein he could be in danger of an attack.

That would: A. be simple B. easy to understand C. eliminate special political benefits to "special persons"
