God, Guns and Government

The Putnam County Republican Party is hosting a non-partisan 2nd Amendment Forum on Gun Rights on Saturday, February 16, at 2pm in Cookeville (Facebook Event Page) that will include speakers Publius Huldah, Constitutional attorney; Rep Joe Carr who will discuss his new bill HB 0042; John Harris, Exec Director of TN Firearms Association, and Sheriff David Andrews, President TN Sheriffs Assn, who will be talking about the enforcement of any attempts at bans or confiscation by federal agents.

This is a hugely important topic that all TN citizens should take part in, since we are seeing this federal administration "taking aim" on gun ownership. This is not a partisan issue, this is an AMERICAN issue and I encourage ALL citizens to come whether you are Democrat, Republican or Independent.

Please join us and listen to these great speakers who will inform you on what is being done on a local and state level to protect our 2nd Amendment rights.

The meeting will take place on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse, (Commission Chambers) at 2pm. There will be ample opportunity for Q & A with all the speakers at the end of the event.

Thank you John for driving to Cookeville Saturday for the God, Guns And Government Forum. I was gad to see that there was standing room only. Hopefully folks get envolved with the TFA , make calls and e-mails to State and Federal officials . Thanks to Rep. Joe Carr of Murfreesboro , Publius Huldah of Nashville and Sheriff David Andrews for their time and expense. I 'm looking foreward to the Sheriff's forum at Southern Hills Golf and Country Club February 28th @5;30 pm in Cookeville. Thanks again.
