There is no mention in the article as to whether the two nonviolent incidents involved HCP holders or not. They could have been related to poachers, someone safely target shooting on public land, or gang members Keeping It Real. Also no mention of how many firearms related incidents occurred in prior years. I would like to know such information.

I thought pretty much the same thing...no news is good news!
