I guess what I am asking is if I found somebody who could make A patch for ME, would I need a release? Like it has been said, it is not economically feasable for TFA to place an order, so if I found somebody who could make one, would I need a relase?

It kind of like when I wanted an image airbrushed onto a "T" shirt. There was a person who had a business set up in a WalMart who would airbrush signs, "T" shirs, hats and so on. I took a picture to him and he said it was copyrighted and he would need a release to do it.
